All safaris start and end in Arusha. You should plan to arrive in Arusha before
the start of your safari, and depart from Arusha the day after your safari ends.
Small aircraft will transfer you between Arusha and our camps on these days, thus
ensuring a full 7,10,16 or 21 days of hunting
in the field. It should be noted that the day you fly from Arusha to your first camp
and from your last camp to Arusha are travel days, and not hunting days and you are
not charged for these. Most outfitters in Tanzania consider the day that you fly
into your first camp and the day that you fly out of your last camp as safari days.
We have found that it is difficult to do any hunting on these days, and thus our
safari schedules are designed to give you the maximum time in the field without hunting
on the two travel days.

There are a number of international flights now servicing Kilimanjaro
International Airport, our preferred port of entry. If you arrive and depart via
Nairobi or Dar Es Salaam, a charter flight will be required to transfer you to Arusha.
Guns may not be transferred between Kenya and Tanzania by road. We will arrange charter
flights for you, as well as hotels, transfers, firearm permits, etc. as required
in Kenya.
These items are not included in the basic safari rate, and will be quoted separately
on your invoice. If you prefer to handle your own commercial airline reservations,
then it is essential that we be informed of your flight schedules as far in advance
as possible.
